Midwest Dog is a micro-batch coffee roasting company started by Tyler and Lizzie in late 2022. Our mission is to offer freshly-roasted coffees to our friends and neighbors in the Midwest that offer a different coffee drinking experience. How? Simple! By experimenting with different origins and bean lots – sharing the gems that we find, and even those roasts that come up a bit short. Through the process we will learn, share, and hopefully bring some fun to our mornings.

 

You will find that we especially focus on Ethiopian natural-process coffees. These will be the beans found in our flagship ‘316 Roast.’ They are are bright, fruity, aromatic, and well-bodied coffees that are typically missing from the Midwesterner’s coffee palette.
